Activate GPRS on your Mobile (For Bangladesh)
To use internet in your mobile device you have to activate GPRS on your mobile.
Requirements:
1. A GPRS/EDGE supported mobile/PDA
2. A SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card of an mobile operator e.g. Grameen Phone, Aktel, Banglalink, Teletalk or Warid Telecom.
3. Minimum amount :)

To subscribe:
Package 1 (P1), type P1 and send SMS to 5000
Same for P2,P3,P4,P5,P6,P7
Package Details
Package 1 (P1) is a pay-as-you-go offer. It is available for both prepaid and postpaid subscribers. For every kilobyte (KB) of data browsed, subscribers are charged Tk. 0.02 (excluding VAT).
Package 2 (P2) is available for both prepaid and postpaid subscribers.
Prepaid: When a subscriber activates EDGE P2, the auto-renewal feature becomes active by default. But for successful execution, subscriber needs to have sufficient balance (BDT 850+VAT) in his/her account. If any subscriber is reluctant to have this “Auto-Renewal” feature, he/she can Type ‘off’ and send it to 5000. If he/she wants to resume the service, then he/she has to type ‘on’ and send to 5000.
Postpaid: When a subscriber activates EDGE P2, the auto-renewal feature becomes active by default. But subscriber cannot activate or reactivate this “Auto-Renewal” feature on his own.
For P2 (24x7 Monthly Browsing) monthly charge is BDT 850 (excluding VAT).
Package 3 (P3) is for postpaid subscribers. Subscribers can enjoy the service from 12:00AM-8:00AM and monthly charge is BDT 300 (excluding VAT). From 8:01AM-11:59PM, subscriber can enjoy pay-as-you-go offer like P1.
Package 4 (P4) is for prepaid subscribers. Subscribers can enjoy the service from 12:00AM - 11:59PM (within a day) with 150MB data usage limit in a day and daily charge is BDT 60 (excluding VAT). From 12:00 AM of the next day, pay-as-you-go (P1) charges will be applicable.
Package 5 (P5) is an internet offer of 3 GB per month @ BDT 700+VAT. The package has a lifetime of 30 days (from the date of activation). After expiration of 3 GB, subscriber will be charged as BDT 0.0002/KB without VAT. After expiration of 30 days validity, subscriber will be charged as BDT 0.02/KB without VAT.
Package 6 (P6) is an internet offer of 1 GB per month@ BDT 300+VAT. The package has a lifetime of 30 days (from the date of activation). After expiration of 1 GB, subscriber will be charged as BDT 0.0002/KB without VAT. After expiration of 30 days validity, subscriber will be charged as BDT 0.02/KB without VAT.
Minipack 15MB (P7) is an internet offer for pre-paid connections with data browsing/downloading capacity up to 15MB @BDT. 29 (+VAT). This package has a duration of 15 days (starting from the date of activation). After using the full volume of 15MB or the expiration of validity period of 15 days (whichever comes first), the package will be automatically deactivated. However, a subscriber can repurchase ‘Minipack 15MB’ in any quantity anytime.
For Mobile Configuration to use internet after getting a package
Wright ALL and send it to to 8080.
Save the all reply SMS with PIN 1234. Some handsets do not support SMS-based settings which need to be configured through manual settings.

Robi:
Aktel GPRS service is known as Spice.
There are two methods to activate your GPRS (also MMS and Internet service).
1. Dail *140*7# or visit http://gprs.aktel.com/ and the follow the instructions.
or,
2. Type "*#06#" to see the IMMI number of your handset.
For example, let your IMMI no is 350143304709722. Write the first 8 digit down of your IMMI number e.g. 35014330.
Now go to your Message menu and write a sms as follows:
-> For WAP settings: wap 35014330
-> For MMS settings: mms 35014330
-> For Internet settings: web 35014330
and send* it to 8738
Airtel:
If you insert the Warid SIM into your mobile device for the first time it automatically initiates a handset configuration request. If you accept it then a Flash SMS will arrive within a few minutes. Just open and save the settings in your mobile. Then your handset will be automatically configured for GPRS/EDGE. Now browse the internet world. :)
If the automative sms does not arrive then,
-> Go to Warid Menu
-> Select Self Service
-> Select Multimedia Settings
-> Select Reset Settings
Then you are requested to send a sms. Select YES or Send.
You will soon receive a flash message with the handset settings and this must be saved in your handset by clicking on “YES”.
Banglalink:
You have to manually configure your mobile for banglalink GPRS. Just call to 121 and contact with an agent of customer care service. Manually Internet Settings:

To activate GPRS service. Write 'reg' or unl [for unlimited use] and send SMS to 111.
It’ll be activated within 72 hours and you will be notified.
Then configure your mobile handset for using GPRS: APN: wap (for regular) or gprsunl (for unlimited) IP: 192.168.145.101 Port: 9201

You Know that GrameenPhone Internet Modem comes with default GP internet settings.For this you don`t use another Mobile operator Sim in gp internet Modem.But Today i will explain a new method to use Another mobile operator Sim in GP internet Modem and enjoy any mobile operator internet in Grameenphone internet Modem.
Lets Check How to use Another Mobile Operator Sim in GP Modem
Connect GP Internet Modem with your PC Then GP internet Modem Default Software will Open
Go To Tools -->Options-->Profile Management
By Default GP-INTERNET Profile name have been selected
Now Select New From Right Side panel
For Robi Internet Write This Below Settings
Profile Name: Robi-INTERNET APN Static/APN : internet Access Number:*99***1# Now Enter your Robi Sim Then Select Profile Name Robi-INTERNET Then Click Connect From GP Modem software
